Library Game Night

Summer Reading Challenge - All Together Now

This summer, let’s celebrate togetherness! Our reading challenge rewards are all about paying it forward - the more you read, the more chances you get to choose how to do that. There are separate challenges for children, teens, and adults. Get registered for All Together Now, track your reading, and complete the challenge using our online reading challenge platform called Beanstack. You can access Beanstack online or via any mobile device using the Beanstack app.

Lapsit Baby Story Time

This story time is for children held in caregiver laps for books, songs, and puppets. Through this story time interaction, your baby will develop language and social skills. Plus, story time fosters a close emotional relationship between you and your baby. Babies learn to associate books with the pleasure of being with parents, and this pleasure will translate to a love of reading.

Preschool Story Time

This story time focuses on books, puppets, and songs. Speaking puppets help bring stories to life and spark the imagination in your child. Our main focus at Preschool Story Time is to instill a love of reading, encourage creativity, and help children become aware of the world around them.

Story Time at the Park - Jaycee Centennial Park

Bring a blanket and enjoy Story Time at the Park.

Lego Club for Kids

Children ages 10+ meet to build with LEGO bricks. Junior Makers ages 5-9 are welcome with a caregiver aged 12+. The Library has a collection of LEGO bricks and minifigures for children to use. Please leave your own at home. No snacks are allowed during LEGO Club, but covered drinks are welcome.

BASA Beginner Rocket Building Experience for Families

Do you love rockets? We do! The library is partnering with BASA (BisMan Area Space Association) to offer a beginning rocket building experience. Each participant will get to build a model rocket with the help of Cory Thrall, our guest leader, and his team of volunteers. Open to kids, teens, and adults ages 8+, preregistration is required.
