The 3rd annual Families around the World event embraces the diversity in our community and celebrates the unique cultures we share with each other. There will be music and dancing presentations, a story time, guest organizations at information tables, hands-on activities and craft projects, and tasty food samples from local purveyors. All ages are welcome to this free event. Families around the World is sponsored by Global Neighbors, Bismarck Public Schools, and the Bismarck Library Foundation, Inc.

This story time for the entire family focuses on books, puppets, and songs.

During regular Library hours when walk-in times are not available, HQ will be available for individual or group study by teens in grades 6-12 by accessing a key from the Adult Information Desk. Teens are required to show a school or photo ID to Library staff in order to use the room. If teens do not have a school ID, they can ask to have one made by the Library staff. They should stop by the Children's Information Desk to inquire. Electronics and other items are only available for check-out use during HQ walk-in hours when the room is monitored by Library staff or volunteers.
