    Sanford Health is offering a new prescription on life-a customized six week workshop just for you. We know living with chronic health conditions keeps you from doing things in life that you love. A Better Choices, Better Health workshop will help you manage your health in a way that helps you get life back to the way it should be. Workshops are no charge and are recommended for patients with diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, cancer, lung disease, high blood pressure, MS, depression, any chronic health condition, or who are overweight. Call (701) 234-5570 or (877) 234-4240 to register for a community in-person workshop. Workshop dates are August 16, 23, 30; September 6, 13, 20.

  2. Canning and Preserving Seminar

    A show and share session covering equipment used in canning, proper procedures, recipes and a question and answer time. A time to look at what we preserved in 2018 and look towards our 2019 produce! Presented by Alice Westby, NDSU Extension agent in Burleigh County.

  1. Miss Sparkles' Kindness Club registration begins

    August 27, 2018, 9:00 AM - September 7, 2018, 9:00 PM

    The mission of Miss Sparkles' Kindness Club is to spread joy, love, and smiles to the Bismarck community one kindness project at a time. Each kid-created project will be given to an unsuspecting person or group in the hopes that we spread a little sparkle and brighten their days. The club meets on Tuesdays after school from October 2 - November 6. Registration is required and begins August 27. Only the first 25 registrants are admitted.

  2. LEGO Club for Kids

    August 30, 2018, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM @ Children's Library Story Room

    Children ages 8+ meet to build with LEGO bricks. Junior Makers ages 5-7 are welcome with a caregiver aged 12+. The Library has a collection of LEGO bricks and minifigures for children to use. Please leave your own at home. No snacks are allowed during LEGO Club, but covered drinks are welcome.
