Do you need volunteer hours for school, National Honor Society, or college applications? Or maybe you would just like to help out at the library! The Volunteer Club is for you. We meet to work on projects in the library. You do not have to attend every session or stay for the entire time. We know that teens are busy, but any help you can give us is greatly appreciated!

As the days get shorter and the weather gets colder, yoga may be just what you need to bring some warmth to a dreary day. Join local yoga teacher Angie Kambeitz as she leads a beginning yoga class for teens and adults. This class is perfect for teens and adults who haven’t tried yoga before or who want a refresher. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one and wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. Some yoga mats will also be available to use on site for those who do not have one. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Children ages 10+ meet to build with LEGO bricks. Junior Makers ages 5-9 are welcome with a caregiver aged 12+. The Library has a collection of LEGO bricks and minifigures for children to use. Please leave your own at home. No snacks are allowed during LEGO Club, but covered drinks are welcome.

Take time this busy holiday season to visit Teen HQ and craft your cares away. Each week will feature a different craft that you can make for yourself or give to someone on your holiday gift list. Holiday Crafternoons are open to 6th-12th graders.

Meet new people and check out the library's extensive board game collection. Open to all ages, there will be board games, card games, group games, and kids games. Popcorn will be provided.

We are inviting all social dance lovers! Whether you are a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, we invite you to join us for an evening of fun and excitement at Ballroom Basics. Our experienced instructor from Northern Plains Dance will guide you step-by-step through the fundamentals of “lead and follow,” “basic footwork patterns,” and musicality in various popular dance styles, including Waltz, Foxtrot, East Coast Swing, Salsa, and Argentine Tango. Imagine yourself confidently gliding across the dance floor, feeling the rhythm of the music and the connection with others. It is very exhilarating! Ballroom dancing is a great way to relieve stress, boost your mood, and stay active. It is also a fun and social activity you can enjoy with friends, family, or strangers. So come on and join us for Ballroom Basics! No partner is needed either! We’ll see you on the dance floor!
