Fox Island and Southport are closed to incoming and outgoing traffic effective immediately. The rain is causing extremely slippery conditions, and the areas are no longer safe for vehicle traffic.
Residents that need to leave are asked to take the shuttle which runs from 6 a.m. - midnight.
