Bismarck Police Detectives have arrested 32-year-old Timothy TwoHorses of Bismarck for Homicide. TwoHorses was located in a motel room on the north side of Bismarck and taken into custody around 11:12 a.m. today.
The victim in this case has been identified as Ernest Ells, 57, of Bismarck. Ells was found yesterday in his home with a stab wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy is being conducted.
Detectives worked through the night to follow leads and identify a suspect. The investigation led them to identify TwoHorses and his location. At this time we do not believe there were any other suspects involved. TwoHorses was taken to the Burleigh Morton Detention Center and held on the charge of AA Felony Homicide. Additional charges are pending with the Burleigh County State’s Attorney’s Office.
