The portion of Riverwood Drive between Riverwood Golf Course and the Pier Restaurant has reopened, to LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY. It is one lane, with check points at both ends.
Residents of a portion of Southport MUST access their homes through Riverwood Drive, while crews rebuild a portion of Mills Avenue to protect homes from rising water. This grade raise will block entrance from the south for the following streets:
• Galleon Place
• Mutineer Place
• Buccaneer Place
• Schooner Place
• Clipper Place
Local traffic headed west on Mills Avenue will have access only from the south.
