There is an urgent need for volunteers to fill sandbags at both sites. Sandbag Central at the Missouri Valley Complex (Fairgrounds), Bismarck Expressway; and Sandbag Central South,1901 Northern Plains Drive. Operating hours are from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Missouri Valley Complex and 24 hours at Sandbag Central South. Anyone who can volunteer to fill sandbags please go to Sandbag Central. Bring gloves and a shovel.
People with trailers should go to Sandbag Central South. Sandbag Central South will be open 24 hours a day. Sandbag Central North is open from sunup until sundown.
Volunteers are needed and will be asked to register before they begin filling sandbags. Volunteers are asked to bring a shovel and gloves. Parental consent is required for those under age 18.
