The Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at 9 am. The meeting will be held in the Planning Conference Room located on the 2nd floor of the City/County Building, 221 N. 5th St., Bismarck, ND.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for public involvement in the review of proposed amendments to projects for the 2011-2014 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The proposed amendments include changing and deleting projects to the 2011-2014 TIP. The TIP includes federally funded metropolitan area transportation projects over a four year time frame.
The proposed amendments to the 2011-2014 TIP will be available for citizens to review at the Bismarck Community Development Department, 221 N. 5th St., 2nd Floor, Bismarck, or by clicking on the following link for additional information.
The public is invited to attend the meeting or submit written comments directed to Steve Saunders of the MPO no later than 5 pm Tuesday, April 26, 2011, to PO Box 5503, Bismarck, ND 58506. Comments may also be faxed to (701) 222-6450 or e-mailed to Steve Saunders, and should be specifically identified as public input on the proposed changes to the 2011-2014 TIP.
