Notice is hereby given that the public will have until 5:00 pm, Monday, May 2, 2011, to comment on the 2011 Transit Operating Grant Proposal. The purpose of the grant is for securing federal funding for operating asistance and capital procurement under 5307 of the Safe, accountable, Flexible, and Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU).
The City of Bismarck, through the Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public meeting in conjunction with the regular meeting of the Bismarck Board of City Commissioners, on May 10, 2011, at 5:15 pm in the Tom Baker Meeting Room at 221 N. 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota. The Bismarck Board of City Commissioners will review the 2011 Transit Operating Grant Proposal and will accept public comment at that time.
