Bismarck Mayor Steve Bakken is looking for a candidate interested in serving on the Bismarck Parking Authority. The volunteer committee has one open position. The position is a new term through May 2024. The candidate must own property within the Downtown Parking District. A map of this area is included in the application.

The deadline for applications is Tuesday, April 9, 2019. It is anticipated that the new board member will be announced at the April 23, 2019, Board of City Commissioners’ meeting.
The Bismarck Parking Authority is a 5-member advisory board appointed by the Bismarck City Commission to provide convenient reasonably priced parking to the residents, clients, customers, merchants, and employees of the Downtown Parking District. The Bismarck Parking Authority currently manages four ramps and two surface lots.
