[ARCHIVED] Gold Star Community Task Force Intoxication Management Subcommittee to host community forum

Gold Star Community Task Force Logo

The Gold Star Community Task Force Intoxication Management Subcommittee invites citizens to attend a community forum on Tuesday, November 20, from 2:00 P.M. - 4 P.M. at the North Dakota Heritage Center, Russell Reid Auditorium, located at 612 East Boulevard Ave., Bismarck.

The Gold Star Community Task Force has worked diligently towards finding a community solution for intoxication management in the Bismarck-Mandan-Lincoln area. The intoxication management subcommittee is working to address the local challenge law enforcement and emergency rooms face in managing individuals under the influence of alcohol. This group has gathered statistics and costs relating to this challenge and is working towards a solution to ease the burden on their facilities and more efficiently manage these individuals.

Attendees will learn about local intoxication management challenges, what North Dakota communities are doing to address this issue, and local solution options for intoxication management.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions relating to intoxication management during a question and answer session that will follow the informational presentations.
