Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:
• Request of Sattler Family, LLLP and Bismarck Parks and Recreation District for approval of a zoning change from the A-Agriculture and P-Public zoning districts to the R5-Residential, R10-Residential and P-Public zoning districts and a final plat for Sattler’s Sunrise Tenth Addition, an 81-lot subdivision on 32.29 acres. The property is located in northeast Bismarck, north of East Century Avenue and east of Roosevelt Drive (a replat of part of Lot 25, Block 1, Sattler’s Sunrise 9th Addition and part of the E1/2 of Section 24, T139N-R80W/Hay Creek Township).
• Request of Allyn Hanson Revocable Trust and Marlys Ward, for approval of a zoning change from the A-Agriculture and RR-Residential zoning district to the RR-Residential zoning district and a final plat for HR Subdivision, a one-lot subdivision on 2.29 acres. The property is located northwest of Bismarck, west of River Road, south of Burnt Creek Loop along the west side of Fernwood Drive (Auditor’s Lot M of the NE1/4 and Auditor’s Lot L of Lot 4, Hanson Subdivision in part of the NE1/4 of Section 14, T139N-R81W/West Hay Creek Township).
• Request of Scott and Kathy Allen for approval of a zoning change from the R5-Residential zoning district to the R10-Residential zoning district for Lot 7, Block 3, KMK Estates. The property is located in northwest Bismarck, west of North Washington Street along the south side of Buckskin Avenue.
• Request of the City of Bismarck for approval of a zoning ordinance text amendment relating to nonconforming uses. The proposed amendment would allow the construction of an addition to some nonconforming structures in certain situations.
At these hearings, the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard with respect to these items.
