New street signs were placed today on a segment of East Divide Avenue, between North Bismarck Expressway and 52nd Street NE, to reflect the street name change to Miriam Avenue. The street name change took place as a result of the construction of the new alignment of East Divide Avenue west of Bismarck Expressway. Because of the new alignment, the name of the roadway from the intersection with Bismarck Expressway to the intersection with 52nd Street NE has been changed to Miriam Avenue.
The street name change was approved by the Bismarck Board of Commissioners at the March 28, 2017, City Commission meeting.
