This is just a friendly reminder that the parade route in Bismarck has changed. If you’ve staked out a favorite place to watch the parade in the past, you’ll want to be sure to check the new route first, before you go. Tonight’s band day parade is the first parade to take place on the new route.
The parade starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Capitol Grounds. The new parade route goes down Sixth Street to Avenue A, West on Avenue A to 4th Street and then 4th Street to Boulevard where the parade will end. Temporary no parking signs have been placed along the parade route. The temporary no parking enforcement along the parade route begins at 5:00 pm on Friday and continues until the parade is over.
Enjoy the parade, but please don’t park in the no-parking zones along the parade route.
