This morning at 10:26 am, Bismarck Police responded to 1119 University Drive for a report of an aggravated assault involving multiple victims. Metro Ambulance was dispatched and arrived at the scene. The suspect was not at the scene when police arrived.
There were five victims who were all assaulted in one mobile home. All victims have been transported to Sanford Health. Two victims are in ICU, one with a head injury. Two victims are adults and three are juveniles. Preliminary information is that at least one of the injuries was caused by a baseball bat.
Bismarck Police investigators responded to the scene, and are in the process of trying to locate the suspect. Before leaving the mobile home, the suspect allegedly made some threatening statements about returning to the mobile home. Sanford Health is controlling access to their business due to this threat.
The suspect is the ex-boyfriend to one of the victims, who lives in the mobile home where the assault occurred.
