The City of Bismarck invites comments on its performance administering the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for 2009-10. CDBG funds must be spent on activities that benefit low and moderate income people, alleviate slum & blight, or address urgent threats. The 2009 program included: emergency repairs of single family homes, renovation of special needs housing, accessibility improvements, renovation of homeless shelters & other public facilities, and operational support of fair housing, homeless activities & family services.
Comments will be included in the Annual Performance report which is sent to HUD for review. The draft report will be available for viewing next month. The public may comment as follows:
