River Road will continue to be closed to vehicular traffic from beneath the Memorial Bridge (including Fraine Barracks Road) to the water treatment plant to complete construction of the new water intake facility.
Traffic needing to access North River Road should use Burnt Boat Drive.
The project is anticipated to be completed by early November. The road closure will be in place until the project is completed.
