[ARCHIVED] Bismarck Police Recruiting Fingerprint Volunteers

The Bismarck Police Department is actively recruiting volunteers to help in their Crime Prevention/Community Services section. Specifically we are looking for people to take fingerprints of people who require this for a variety of applications and permits such as gaming and concealed weapon permits, teaching certificates, banking and insurance industry and others.

The ability to roll readable fingerprints is required as well as the ability to operate the Livescan electronic fingerprint equipment. The job would also involve interacting with the public, checking the person's identification
and may require entering this information via a computer keyboard. A
certain amount of manual dexterity is required. Training will be provided.

Volunteers for the fingerprinting position:
. Must be at least 18 years old.
. Must be detail orientated.
. Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
. Must be able to pass a background check.
. Must adhere to strict confidentiality standards.
. Volunteer two hours of time per shift. Prefer volunteers who would
be able to work at least one two hour shift per week. Hours are from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Tuesdays and Thursdays.
