Because of higher than normal groundwater levels, residents of south Bismarck are encouraged to water their lawns sparingly.
South Bismarck residents should irrigate only when lawns show signs of needing water. Do not water on a fixed schedule or when rain is forecast. Excess amounts of water can contribute to raising the groundwater levels.
There are NO general water use restrictions in the city of Bismarck.
