Bismarck City Offices and the Landfill will be Closed and there will be No Garbage Collection or Curbside Recycling Gold Route Collection on Monday, January 19, 2026 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr Day Holiday.

- Monday, January 19th, No Garbage or Recycling Gold Route Collection.
- The Monday through Thursday routes will be delayed by one day all week. (Example: Monday’s route will be picked up Tuesday, Tuesday’s route will be picked up Wednesday, etc.).
- Garbage and Recycling must be set out by 6:00 a.m. on collection day or may be set out the evening before collection.
- Crews will not be dispatched to return to an address where items were not out in time for the initial collection.
Holiday Week Landfill Hours of Operation

- Open Tuesday through Saturday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.
