Starting at 9:00 am, Sunday, June 5, 2011, Washington Street will be reopened to North/South traffic. Traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction.
Washington Street will be closed periodically as necessary to reduce water levels in the storm water ditch. Washington Street will be closed prior to any potential rain event in preparation to pump storm water across Washington Street.
Closures of Washington Street will be implemented without public notice.
During the closures, southbound traffic will be detoured on Wachter Avenue to University Drive and northbound traffic will be detoured to Burleigh Avenue to South 12th Street or University Drive.
