Front Avenue and 5th Street Near the Event Center (map attached)
Why: -Water main replacements along Front Avenue and along 5th Street.
Site 1: -Front Avenue will be closed between 3rd Street and 5th Street. Local access to businesses will be maintained. Work is planned to start Monday 7/15/2024 with an expected duration of one month. Traffic will be detoured south on 3rd Street, east on Bowen Avenue, north on 5th Street, east on Front Ave, and vice versa.
Site 2: -On Wednesday 7/17/2024 (one day only), weather permitting, at the intersection of Front Avenue and 5th Street, traffic will only be allowed to make northbound to eastbound right turns.
Site 3: -On Thursday 7/18/2024 (one day only), weather permitting, at the intersection of 5th Street and Sweet Avenue, the west leg of the intersection will be closed.
7th Street Between Boulevard Avenue and Broadway Avenue (map attached)
What: -Southbound traffic will be reduced to one through lane.
When: -Work is planned to start Monday 7/15/2024 with an expected duration of three weeks.
Why: -Repair pedestrian ramps, damaged curb and gutter, damaged sidewalk, replace lighting, and mill and overlay the road.
Detour: -No detour.
Tyler Parkway Between I-94 and Burnt Boat Drive
What: -Northbound traffic will be reduced to one through lane.
When: -Worked is planned to start Monday 7/15/2024 at 8:30 am, with an expected duration of one day.
Why: -Sewer work.
Detour: -No detour.
Divide Avenue & 26th Street Intersection
What: -The traffic signal will be out of service for repairs. Traffic will be controlled with stop signs in all directions.
When: -Work is expected to occur Wednesday 7/17/2024 between 8:30 am and noon.
Detour: -No detour.
