Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public hearing on Tuesday January 23, 2024 at 11:00am regarding a proposed amendment to the Bismarck-Mandan 2024-2027 TIP. The meeting will be held in the 2nd Floor David Blackstead Conference Room of the City/County Building at 221 N 5th St, Bismarck, ND.
The purpose of the public hearing is to provide an opportunity for public involvement in the review of proposed amendments to the 2024-2027 TIP. The TIP includes federally funded metropolitan area transportation projects over a four-year time frame. The proposed amendment adds a project to the TIP for work on Burleigh County’s Highway 10. Following the consideration period of citizen’s comments, the proposed amendment will be adopted into the 2024-2027 TIP, contingent upon no substantive change required due to public comments.
The public is invited to attend the public hearing, or submit written comments directed to Stephen Larson of the MPO no later than 9am Tuesday, January 23, 2024 to P.O. Box 5503, Bismarck, ND, 58506. Comments may also be e-mailed or faxed to (701) 222-6450. Comments should be identified as public input on the proposed changes to the 2024-2027 TIP.
