Starting 6:00 AM, Friday, July 22, 2022, work will begin on 6th Street between Broadway Avenue and Rosser Avenue and Thayer Avenue from the alley between 5th Street and 6th Street to 6th Street. The impacted area will be closed to traffic in both directions. The contractor will begin concrete removals.
Access to the Sixth and Thayer parking ramp will be maintained from the south. Egress from the Sixth and Thayer parking ramp will be maintained to the west. Sidewalk access will be maintained for businesses.
No Detour routes will be provided.
Roadwork in this area is anticipated to last 4 weeks. Drivers are asked to modify their travel routes to avoid this area until the project is complete.
On Friday, July 22, 2022 at 6:00AM, 6th Street between Main Avenue and Broadway Avenue will reopen to traffic.
