UPDATE: Starting 9:00 AM, Wednesday, November 3, 2021, the Divide Avenue and 19th Street intersection will have the traffic signals turned off and an All-Way-Stop will be put in place. Traffic lanes will be reduced to one lane of travel in each direction, and sidewalks will be closed for the continued work of the replacement of the traffic signals at this intersection.
The All-Way-Stop will be in place for approximately two weeks. The lane reductions will be in place until the end of the day Friday, November 19, 2021, weather permitting.
During peak traffic periods, drivers can anticipate longer than normal delays and congestion on Divide Avenue and on 19th Street.
No detour route will be in place.
Drivers are asked to modify their travel routes and seek alternate routes.
