BISMARCK, ND – Starting at 9:00 AM, Tuesday, May 4, 2021, westbound traffic on Main Avenue at 5th Street will be redirected south into the eastbound left turn. This shift in traffic lane is to allow for the placement of a telescopic lift to raise materials to the roof of the Paterson building. East and West left turning traffic movements on Main Avenue will be maintained in a shared through lane.
No Parking will be allowed on 5th Street from the alley to Main Avenue from the corner of 5th Street for about a half a block west.
Equipment traffic control will be removed from the roadway after work is completed at the end of the day.
Pedestrian access to local businesses and residence will be maintained.
The closure will be in place until the end of the day Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
No Detour route will be provided.
Traffic is asked to seek alternate routes.
