The City of Bismarck invites its citizens to comment on its performance in the administration of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for 2018. CDBG funds must be spent on activities that benefit low and moderate income people, alleviate slum & blight, or address urgent threats. The 2018 program included: emergency housing repairs; accessibility improvements to housing; renovation of affordable rental housing and special needs housing; parks facilities; improvements to facilities serving youth, seniors, and homeless persons; and services to prevent homelessness.
Comments will be included in the Annual Performance report which is sent to HUD for review. The draft report will be available for viewing in August. The public may comment as follows:
