The Bismarck Water Plant is nearly 60% complete with the Filter Media Rehabilitation project. We are replacing the filter media to increase efficiency and maintain cost effective operation at the plant. During this project the plant will be at reduced capacity thru the June 6th completion date. During this time, we ask water users to help us balance the water use. If you water multiple times a week, use your house number to pick the watering days.
- Even numbered homes and businesses should water on Monday, Wednesday, Friday
- Odd numbered homes and businesses should water on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
This is a beneficial practice to follow for the entire summer season as it helps the Water Plant production and also the storage system so that they can operate more consistent and cost effective.
