The Street Department will be removing snow from downtown streets in Bismarck marked “No-Parking – Street Cleaning.” Cars will be towed if parked in the “No Parking” areas on Tuesday December 28th and Wednesday, December 29th.
Businesses along these signed street cleaning areas, that have not already been cleaned, should have their sidewalks cleaned by midnight before their designated street is cleaned.

A reminder to all citizens, businesses, and contractors. Please move vehicles off streets and keep them off the street until snow plows are finished in your area. According to City Ordinance a person may not move, dump or deposit by any means any snow or ice accumulated on private property onto any public street, alley, or public right-of-way. The fine for this violation is up to $1,000. It is the property owner’s responsibility to clear snow around their mailbox.
