The Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) hereby requests proposals from all interested and qualified engineering and planning firms desiring to develop a Corridor Improvement Study for the Bismarck-Mandan MPO for the cities of Mandan and Bismarck.
Written proposals should address (at a minimum) the following items concerning the firm:
Past performanceAbility of professional personnel, including project understanding
Willingness to meet time and budget requirementsLocation
Recent, current, and projected workloads of the persons or firms Related experience on similar projects
The MPO reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received. The MPO reserves the right to limit interviews to as few as three firms, whose proposals most clearly meet the RFP requirements. The selection of the firm will be based on an evaluation of the written proposals and oral presentations before a selection committee. The selection committee will then forward their recommendation to the Bismarck-Mandan MPO Policy Board for their consideration. Final scope and price will be negotiated with the successful firm following the selection process. If unable to arrive at a mutual agreement with the first ranked firm, then the Bismarck-Mandan MPO may negotiate with the next ranked firm.
A Request for Proposal, including study area maps with a Scope of Work and detailed project requirements, will be sent to interested firms for this project. Written proposals from qualified consultants must be received on or before 4:00 p.m. Central Time, June 12, 2015.
