[ARCHIVED] Bismarck Downtown Sub-Area Plan Implementation Task Force Meets

The Downtown Bismarck Sub-Area Plan Implementation Task Force met today at 9:30 a.m. to discuss the downtown study that was recently received by the Bismarck City Commission. The eleven member task force is co-chaired by Commissioner Brenda Smith and Mayor John Warford. Its purpose is to advance the continued improvement of the downtown area by developing the improvements advocated by the downtown plan.

The committee will meet monthly to review the progress of its projects. Eleven projects are under study. Reports on these projects will be considered when the committee meets again in early May. The task force will make recommendations to the City Commission as projects are developed.
