[ARCHIVED] Bismarck City Commissioners - 7-24-12 Public Hearing Notices

Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck City Commission will hold public hearings on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at 5:15 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:

• Request of Bismarck Land Company, LLC for approval of the annexation of Edgewood Village Sixth Addition, containing 63.61, more or less. The property is located in northeast Bismarck, north of Century Avenue, between Colorado Drive and Centennial Road.

• Request of Bismarck Land Company, LLC for approval of a zoning change from the A-Agriculture, RM15-Residential, RM30-Residential and MA-Industrial zoning districts to the R10-Residential and RM30-Residential zoning districts on Edgewood Village Sixth Addition. The property is located in northeast Bismarck, north of Century Avenue, between Colorado Drive and Centennial Road (part of the S1/2 of the NW1/2 of Section 23, part of the N1/2 of the SW1/4 of Section 23, part of the SW1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 23 and part of the E1/2 of Section 22 T139N-R80W/Hay Creek Township, including a replat of part of Edgewood Village Second Addition).

• Request of Bismarck Land Company, LLC for approval of a Fringe Area Road Master Plan amendment for Section 23, T139N-R80W/Hay Creek Township to add an extension of Calgary Avenue west of Nebraska Drive to the section line as an east-west collector for this section.

• Request of Santa Fe, LLP for approval of the annexation of all of Promontory Point V, containing 70.33 acres, more or less. The property is located on the top of the plateau north of Burnt Boat Drive, between River Road and the Tyler Coulee (part of Section 19, T139N-R80W and part of Section 24, T139N-R81W).

• Request of Global Properties, Alvin Leingang and Arlon Voge for approval of the annexation of that part of Expressway Industrial Park not previously annexed, containing 34.10 acres, more or less. The property is located on either side of Yegen Road between Apple Creek Road and the BNSF Railway line (parts of the NE1/4 of the of Section 11, and the NW1/4 of Section 12, T138N-R80W/Lincoln Township).

• Request of Knutson Properties for approval of the annexation for part of Eagle Crest Fourth Addition, containing 10.94 acres, more or less. The property is located west of Valley Drive along High Creek Road and Round Top Road.

• Request of Arnold & Luella Gomke and Wayne & Nila Kilber for approval of a zoning change from the RM30-Residential zoning district to the R10-Residential zoning district on Lots 1-6, Block 1, Imperial Valley Subdivision. The property is located along Princeton Avenue at the intersection of Burleigh Avenue and South 12th Street.

• Request of the City of Bismarck for approval of a zoning change from the R5-Residential and RT-Residential zoning districts to the R5-Residential zoning district on Lot 10, Block 11 and the North 3 feet of Lot 6 and the vacated Owens Avenue adjacent, Block 12, Jennings Second Addition. The property is located in along both sides of North 8th Street north of Divide Avenue.

At the public hearings, the Board of City Commissioners will provide an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard with respect to these items. Descriptions of these requests are on file and may be viewed or copied any working day between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the City-County Community Development Department, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota.
