[ARCHIVED] Mike Mundahl Bismarck Burleigh Combined Communications Named Telecommunicator of the Year

Mike Mundahl, Telecommunicator of the Year

Mike Mundahl, was named the 2011 Telecommunicator of the Year by the North Dakota Chapter of the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO), and recognized at the Regional 911 Conference held in Pierre, S.D. May 8th. Mike is a dispatcher with the Bismarck Burleigh Combined Communications Center and was nominated by his supervisors for the award. He was recognized by APCO for “professional actions that have reflected and demonstrated the highest traditions of Public Safety Service.” He’s been with the Combined Communications Center Since March of 2009.

“This award is recognition of Mike’s professionalism and dedication to the citizens of Bismarck and Burleigh County. Mike operates as a team player with utmost professionalism and provides a high degree of service in all situations,” said Mike Dannenfelzer, Communications Manager. “He is one of the most professional and enjoyable people we’ve had the pleasure to work with,” said his supervisors. “He holds himself to a high standard and exemplifies the meaning of professional telecommunicator.”
