[ARCHIVED] Public Meeting to Discuss Proposed Changes to NWS Definition of Flood Stage for Bismarck Gage

The National Weather Service office in Bismarck and Burleigh County Emergency Management will hold a public meeting to discuss proposed changes to the National Weather Service definition of flood stage for the Bismarck gage on the Missouri River. The public is invited to attend, ask questions, and provide comments.

Allen Schlag, Service Hydrologist for the National Weather Service office in Bismarck, will present information on the hydrology program of the National Weather Service and what a change in the National Weather Service flood stage means to the affected population.

The meeting will be held Tuesday, March 20, at 5:30 p.m. CST in The Tom Baker Room of the City County building, located at 221 North Fifth Street, Bismarck.
