Beginning July 13, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will change the hours of operation for the call center at the Missouri River Joint Information Center, which supports flood event information needs for the public.
The Corps established the Joint Information Center May 30 to ensure timely and coordinated release of accurate information to the public by providing a single release point of information.
The new hours of operation for the call center will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The call center will be open Saturdays and Sund ays from noon until 5 p.m.
The hours were determined based on reduced call and email volume.
Emergency Management staff will maintain 24-hour operations throughout the duration of this flood event.
