Citizens are reminded to continue protecting your home and are advised not to take
any sandbags down at this point. The river is still very high and people need to be very cautious. While flows are forecasted to decrease they are still expected to stay at what's considered high levels in July and August, that forecast could change due to a significant weather event.
Citizens are asked to remain heedful, keep sandbags in place and do what is necessary to protect your personal property.
Sandbags are no longer being accepted at self-fill sites. Unused sandbags can be returned to the Bismarck Landfill.
A plan is being developed for sandbag disposal. The public will be notified when it is appropriate to do so.
