Meet and Greet with Miss Rodeo Mandan and Miss Rodeo Mandan Princess

Thursday, June 30, 2022

Stop by to meet our special guests: Grace Stanke, Miss Rodeo Mandan 2022, and Lilly Gartner, Miss Rodeo Mandan Princess. Both ladies will be here to greet and visit with folks, and then at 3:30 they will join in Lego Club, playing and building along with the kids in attendance.

2022 Miss Rodeo Mandan is Grace Stanke. Rural West Fargo is where she hangs her hat and parks her horse. Grace is a level 3 Ladies Competitor in the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association, has competed in rodeo and horse shows for as long as she can remember, and has earned her green belt in Taekwondo. She studied formal logic and Latin through a classical education program before graduating in 2020. Don’t let that fool you though, rodeo pageants are in her DNA. She is a former Jr. Miss Rodeo North Dakota Winter Show, a former Fort Ransom Arena Association Princess, and a former Miss Rodeo Ransom County Fair Princess. Now that she has obtained the title of Miss Rodeo Mandan, she is setting her sights to the future and can’t wait to compete for the coveted state title, Miss Rodeo North Dakota.

Lilly Gartner from Menoken, North Dakota, was selected Miss Rodeo Mandan Princess on the final night of the Mandan Rodeo Days 4th of July Rodeo. When asked what her favorite thing about being Miss Rodeo Mandan Princess is, she simply replied with “Promoting rodeo and the western way of life to kids and their families.” Lilly enjoys riding horse, competing in rodeos and showing horses. Her favorite event is barrel racing on her horse, Rosie. Lilly is 11 years old and the daughter of Joe and Tiffany Gartner. She has a younger sister, Laila, and a younger brother, Levi. She attends Simle middle school where she participates in volleyball, tennis and is an active member with the Just for Kix Studio in Bismarck.
