The Library is very appreciative of the support from the Friends of the Bismarck Public Library and the Bismarck Library Foundation, and the work of our many loyal volunteers. Please consider becoming a volunteer or a member of the Friends. A monetary contribution of any size to the Bismarck Library Foundation is a “gift that keeps on giving.”-
Bismarck Library Foundation
The Bismarck Library Foundation, Inc. was established in 1975 to support the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library. Our mission is to enrich publicly-funded Library services by raising private funds to enhance collections, resources and facilities.

The Friends of the Bismarck Public Library is an organization committed to increasing public awareness and use of the Library through cultural, educational and social activities, and to raising funds to supplement and enhance library programs and services

Volunteer Information
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library. Depending upon library staff availability and needs, we may have volunteer opportunities in our Children's, Technical Services, Circulation, or Building Maintenance departments.
