Summer-Reading-Challenge-04x03

All Together Now Summer Reading Challenge (June 2-July 28, 2023)

Our theme for this summer’s reading program is “All Together Now.”  With this theme in mind, rather than receiving individual prizes, participants are given the opportunity to unite and come together as a community for 5 local non-profit organizations.  The organization with the most votes will receive a monetary donation from the library on behalf of you, our valued patrons.

The more you read, the more programs you attend, the more votes you will earn. There are separate challenges for Children (up to entering 5th grade), teens (6th-entering 12th grade), and adults.

Readers of all ages are all eligible to participate.  The age-appropriate challenge will be available in each patron's reader profile in Beanstack.

HOW TO VOTE

1. Participants may earn virtual, online votes (tickets) by logging minutes via the Beanstack App. Each ticket earned can be used to vote for the organization of your choice. The list of organizations and your accrued ticket totals are found under “Ticket Drawings” in the Beanstack App. Vote right within the app. There are reading challenges for children, teens, and adults! Online voting ends July 28th!

2. Participants may earn in-person votes (stickers) by attending any library program (children, teens, or adults). Vote for the organization of your choice by placing a sticker on the voting board in the library. In-person voting ends July 31st!

*The College SAVE Summer Reading Champions Campaign is offered by the Bank of North Dakota for eligible youth. Details will be provided to interested participants. Ask at the Children's Information Desk, or call 701-355-1489 for more information.
