About Us

The Burleigh County Library is a public library that operates a traveling bookmobile. It has served residents of Burleigh County since 1975. Burleigh County Library is part of the Central Dakota Library Network (CDLN). This means that as a library card holder, you have access to materials from 20 libraries throughout Burleigh, Morton, McClean, Mercer, and Oliver Counties!

Library Cards

The bookmobile accepts library cards from any CDLN member library. No library card? No problem! Applications are available on the bookmobile or you may print an application: Library Card Application and bring a completed form to any of our stops. 

Materials

The bookmobile is stocked with items for all ages. 

  • Bestselling adult fiction, non fiction, and large print books
  • DVDs, Music CDs, and books on CD
  • Video games, Launchpad tablets, and Wonderbooks 

Item Requests

Materials from any of the 20 libraries in CDLN may be brought to a bookmobile stop. Call, email, or request online by searching the online catalog and choosing the Burleigh County Bookmobile as your pick-up location. 

Checkouts & Returns

All bookmobile items check out on a monthly basis. Items may be returned to the bookmobile, Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library, or any CDLN member library.
