  1. Lapsit Baby Story Time

    This story time is for children held in caregiver laps for books, songs, and puppets. Through this story time interaction, your baby will develop language and social skills. Plus, story time fosters a close emotional relationship between you and your baby. Babies learn to associate books with the pleasure of being with parents, and this pleasure will translate to a love of reading.

    Wiggle Time is an hour long free-play for children and their parents or caregivers. They are invited to explore a mix of play experiences including blocks, puppets/puppet stage, dramatic play toys, trampoline, and other play equipment. Adults must be in attendance at all times and are responsible for children's safety.

    Focusing on developmental milestones, this early music program is a great way to introduce music to young children. Classes will focus on singing, movement, instrument play, and dance to achieve early developmental milestones, bonding between child and caregiver, and a love of music! (Presented by music therapist, Bobbi Jo Vandal) This program is sponsored by the Center for Technology and Business Women's Leadership Program.

    Do you need volunteer hours for school, National Honor Society, or college applications? Or maybe you would just like to help out at the Library! The Volunteer Club is for you! We will meet once a month to work on projects in the Library, including but not limited to: putting together take-home craft kits for children, helping plan and set up events, and more! You do not have to attend every session or stay for the entire time. We know that teens are busy, but any help you can give is greatly appreciated!
