    The object of this simulation is to help people understand what it might be like to live in a typical low-income family trying to survive from month-to-month. The event is open to community members, agencies, and city leaders.     Sanford Health is offering a new prescription on life-a customized workshop just for you. We know living with chronic pain conditions keeps you from doing things in life that you love. A Better Choices, Better Health workshop will help you manage your health in a way that helps you get life back to the way it should be. Workshops are no charge and are recommended for patients with diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, cancer, lung disease, high blood pressure, MS, depression, any chronic health condition, or who are overweight.     This story time is for children held in caregiver laps for books, songs, and puppets. Through this story time interaction, your baby will develop language and social skills. Plus, story time fosters a close emotional relationship between you and your baby. Babies learn to associate books with the pleasure of being with parents, and this pleasure will translate to a love of reading.

  3. LEGO Club for Kids

    Children ages 10+ meet to build with LEGO bricks. Junior Makers ages 5-9 are welcome with a caregiver aged 12+. The Library has a collection of LEGO bricks and minifigures for children to use. Please leave your own at home. No snacks are allowed during LEGO Club, but covered drinks are welcome.

    Focusing on developmental milestones, this early music program is a great way to introduce music to young children. Classes will focus on singing, movement, instrument play, and dance to achieve early developmental milestones, bonding between child and caregiver, and a love of music!
